Recruitment

  •

Welcome to Murray State University!!!! Among the numerous traditions here at Murray State, the Greek community is one of the most exciting! AOII prides itself on strong sisterly bonds. Not only are we making our best friends during the most exciting time of our lives, these friendships and memories will truly last a lifetime. Our chapter is made up of some amazing people, all with different talents, beliefs, and perspectives on the world. The friendships made in a sorority are so special and the sisters of Alpha Omicron Pi highly encourage you to Go Greek!!!!! My name is Brooke Borders and as the Vice President of Membership Recruitment I am excited to meet each of you and show you everything the MSU Greek system has to offer!!!

As a senior, I can honestly say that being a part of the Greek system has made my college experience one that I will never forget. Aside from the mixers, formals, and homecoming events; being Greek encourages service and allows members to reach out past our own community and make an impact for global causes.  Becoming an AOII has truly been the best decision that I ever made; it has played a huge part in making me the young woman I am today. I am forever grateful for the wonderful women I had been lucky enough to call my sisters and the memories they have given me. Alpha Omicron Pi is really more than a sorority; it is a way of life.

Even if you are unsure about sorority life, go through Formal Recruitment and see for yourself what it is about here at MSU! If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at brooke.borders@murraystate.edu. Once again, welcome to MSU; we cannot wait to meet you in August!

"What we want is high minded, like minded, loyal hearted girls who will work together happily and hard according to their talents for worthy achievements in and for their college. We want girls who will not only take a lot of fun and happiness out of college but also put some useful service into it, who will have enough grace to be popular, enough generosity to enjoy life with others and the esteem of others, but enough character to do all this without making the slightest concession of principal or conduct."
~Stella George Stern Perry, AOll Founder
