• From Our President!

We would like to welcome you to get to know each of us and our amazing  sisterhood.  This website will provide you with a glimpse into the friendships, accomplishments, and philanthropies that our 90 sisters work towards.  We are the Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi and we share a common love for one another and a desire to “exceed the expectation.”.

Delta Omega has a long tradition of excellence and we welcome those alumnae from the past to meet your active sisters and to become a part of this website as well.  Our chapter is preparing for our 50th Anniversary which we hope everyone will participate in.  Delta Omega is an active part of Murray State’s campus today. We know that the rich example that has been provided to us is a testament to our excellence.

Even though we all like to have fun at formals, socials, and cheering our sisters on at intramurals we are so much more than just those events.  We are founded by strong ideals which challenge us to be better women, to grow as an organization, and to love and support one another.  Delta Omega is our home away from home.  The friendships that we form here truly last a lifetime.  It is no coincidence that Alpha Omicron Pi or AOII’s international mission statement is “Women enriched through Lifelong friendship.”

Sisterhood events are something that each member looks forward to every semester. Sisterhood activities include themed chapter retreats, progressive dinners, movie nights, pumpkin carving, Easter egg dying, hay rides and trips to visit our national headquarters in Tennessee. We also enjoy fun social events, such as mixers with other sororities and fraternities as well as hosting our annual crush dance, and Fall and Spring formals.  Outside of planned events we love to hang out with one another watching a movie, carpooling to Church, sharing a bible study, or even going shopping.  Along with scholarship, one of the most important things we do as a chapter is planning our two philanthropy events every year, our famous Mr. MSU pageant in the fall, which is held on Parents Weekend every year, and our bowling tournament in the Spring; Strike Out Arthritis. All proceeds from each events benefits our national philanthropy arthritis research.

Delta Omega undeniably strives to achieve excellence, and being a part of this organization is truly an amazing experience. As President it is a blessing and an honor to represent a group of wonderful and intelligent women. Please take your time and look around our website to learn about us and our wonderful sisterhood.

  • On Murray State's Campus!

AOII here on Murray State’s Campus is known for its highly respected reputation on campus, within the Greek Community, in Murray’s community, and also internationally. At MSU you will find AOIIs on campus involvement to be truly widespread. We have members in the Student Government Association, Racer band, Pre-Professional clubs, Honor societies, Racer Cheerleading, Summer O counselors, Student Ambassadors, I-Racers, Campus Outreach, school plays and the list goes on and on. Our sisters are not only involved on Murray State’s campus but also across the world.  Our sisters are involved with studying and traveling for missions during breaks and studying abroad for semesters to Argentina, Australia, England, Korea, Haiti, Spain, Germany, France, and Mexico. We have a diverse set of sisters but being different from each other makes our bonds between one another stronger.
