    50th Anniversary Celebration Weekend

    Friday, September 16, 2011
    5:30 pm Welcome Reception, Pogue Library
                      Join us for light refreshments in one of MSU’s oldest buildings

    7:00 pm 30th Annual Mr. MSU Pageant, Lovett Auditorium*
                    Celebrate 30 years of talent, comedy, and memories at Delta Omega’s largest

                    philanthropic event, with all proceeds benefiting Arthritis Research.


    Saturday, September 17, 2011
    8:30 am Campus Tours, meet at the AOII Suites*
                      Tour the campus with sisters from your decade and reminisce about MSU as it was
                      and as it is now.


    11:30 am Delta Omega 50th Anniversary Celebration Banquet, CFSB Center Concourse B with special guest speaker, Barbara Zipperian, AOII Past International President.
                        The Celebration Banquet will showcase Delta Omega’s years of excellence and honor
                        the sisters who have had a part in building the foundation for what you see today.
                        Come early to look at memorabilia, shop the AOII Emporium, and visit with sisters
                        you have lost touch with. Please dress in pin attire (business casual).


    3:30 pm Tailgating at the Practice Field, behind Stewart Stadium*
                     Continue the celebration at the AOII Tent with family-fun games, snacks, and maybe
                     even some AOII cheers!


    6:00 pm MSU Football vs. Tennessee State, Roy Stewart Stadium*
                     Cheer on the Racers as they battle their first OVC opponent of the season. Stay
                     through halftime to see MSU’s award-winning marching band and participate in a
                     special recognition for AOII’s 50th Anniversary.


    8:30 pm Alumnae After-Hours Soiree, Murray Country Club
                      Cap off an exciting day with cocktails and dancing. Alumnae from all generations are
                      invited to mingle.

    9:00 am 50th Anniversary Ritual Ceremony, Robert O. Miller Conference Center, downtown
                     Sisters and their guests are invited to attend this open ritual ceremony honoring our
                     25- and 50-year members.

     

    *Children are invited to attend events noted with an asterisk.
